More craft items...

Earlier this week I went into town and bought lots of bits and pieces to turn into decorative items.

So far I've finished a cake stand, from two matching plates and a small vase, some felt decorative mushrooms, and a covered book. When I was at home last weekend I made some place mats and coaster too.

Sometimes the children have a real talent for sewing and pick up the stitches very quickly, I taught these two children some extra stitches, including chain stitch and back stitch.
